Hemlock Registration is LIVE!!!

After a few years of the witness protection act, Dh racing is back at Hemlock Resort. A new course, with a peppering of sections of the old course is sure to create a great race.

Here is the information that you are going to need to race!

New this year there is going to be a late penalty for not registering a week prior to it closing. An additional fee of $15.00 will applied to the prices listed after Thursday August 18^th, 2011 at 11:59 pm. Please note there will be no day of registration and registration will close Thursday August 25^th, 2011 at exactly 11:59 pm. So be sure to get your name on the list!

9:00am through 12:00pm - Registration

9:00am through 4:00pm - Practice Runs

4:00pm through 5:00pm - Pro-Only runs (no sessioning)

5:00pm through 7:00 pm – BBQ sponsored by Hemlock Valley Resort

7:00pm through 9:00pm – Video Premier – 3 minute gap, and slide show presentation, in “Molly Hogan’s” Hemlock’s beer haven

9:00 pm through 11:00pm - Dunbar Cycles 16" BMX Race (helmets mandatory)

9:00am through 11:00am - Practice runs

11:00am through 12:00pm - Course closed and washroom break for the marshals.

12:00pm through 4:00pm - RACE TIME!

Parking Notifications:

There is loads of parking in lot 1, but you must be registered for camping to enter lot 2.

Camping:

$10 per site - Max 4 people - for the weekend!!!! Parking lot 2 will be set up for camping, limited space available. You need to register for camping when you register for the race so we can assign spaces. Only one vehicle per camping spot, maximum of 4 people per space. Security and porta potties will be provided. You will be required to show an ID of sorts to enter camping area.

Shuttles:

Shuttles… Shuttles!!!!! Heck no we got a lift!!! Hemlock will be staffing and manning the Sasquatch Chair for the race course.

Registration:

Registration will take place at the Lodge area at the base of the race course. Make sure you are super nice to the lovely ladies there, or they may just cancel your registration. You will be getting a Racer Package with valuable information; we suggest that you read it. This year there will be no paper copies of the racer kits, we will be forwarding you all the information that you need when you register. Too many trees get cut down so we are attempting to reduce the impact on the environment by sending you all the information that you need to your email.

Food:

Hemlock resort will be providing ample BBQ services and pub services throughout the weekend!!!! The pub will not be open till 11am due to “laws”. Remember you basically are in the middle of no-where so bring ample food and water to maintain you athletic physic.

Cycle Component Network SPEED TRAP!

There is a relatively straight section of trail coming into the new hip jump at the lower 1/4 of the course. There you will find the CCN SPEED TRAP! That is right, an honest to goodness Police certified radar gun complete with digital display. You will be able to see first hand just how fast, or slow you were going. Don't worry though; Rocky Mountain Fro-Rider Brett Tippie will be in the "living room" to heckle you if you didn't get to see it.

DUNBAR Cycles 16" BMX

Back again for 2010 is the Dunbar Cycles 16" BMX Challenge. A new track will be constructed to challenge even the best. Try your luck from 9pm - 11pm Saturday August 27th, 2010. Helmets are mandatory for this event. Knee/shin pads are recommended.
